Game Recap

The Eagles defeated the Greenville Red Raiders last night 4-3. Andrew Sargent threw all seven innings and got the win for the Eagles. Trailing 2-0 in the 5th inning, Myquerius McGrier stepped to the plate with 2 outs. With 2 strikes, McGrier laces a single to right field scoring 2. Ryan Ebert and Jarrett Dillashaw would follow with hits to score 2 more runs. With the win, the Eagles are 3-14 overall and 2-9 in the region. The win was also significant because it Coach Vaugh’s 150 win.   Greenwood will travel to Greenville Friday for a 6:00 matchup with the Red Raiders.
