In a tightly contested contest through 3 quarters, the Eagles stammer in the fourth. The Eagles appeared to run out of gas and the visiting Red Raiders of Greenville took advantage and made a run to close the game. Scoring on the night for Greenwood was Jaylin Tolbert with 17, Dalen Boyles 12, Ahmari Coats 6, Hampton Schoch 6, Isaiah Thomas 4, KJ Makins 3, Karlniyous Norman 3, and Deonta Tapp with 2. The Eagles fall to 4-3 and 0-1 in conference play. Greenwood will be back in action next Tuesday, January 12 @ 7:30pm.
