Carter Anderson brought home a gold metal on Saturday along with the state title at 106 pounds in 5A. This is the first state championship won by a Greenwood High Wrestler since 2015 when Steven Crowder won at 160 pounds. Anderson went 54-0 on the year and capped his junior year with 131 total wins.
Greenwood High School would like to congratulate Jaqion Williams on his selection to the North/South All-Star wrestling team. Jaqion has had an outstanding wrestling career at Greenwood High School, where he has broken many records in his four years as a varsity starter. He recently just tied the most wins in school history at 171 wins. He
